A small team, building against the grain
Gressus is a two-person company developing multi-state and analog computing hardware, starting with an AI accelerator built on our M16 architecture. We’re early, we’re small, and we think that’s exactly the right size to question an assumption the rest of the industry stopped questioning decades ago.
Smaller Isn't Always Bad
The field of computing has been building a robust global supply chain for decades. Factories, labs, and contacts have made accessibility to components easier than ever. This also means that at every point of the supply chain, everyone involved is dependent on the success of the previous and next steps. A gamble on the existing chain pivoting to multi-state this early in its development is inherently risky and expensive for primes in the sector.
This is where we come in. Navigating the future of Gressus will be dependent on harmonious existence between binary and multi-state electronics. From components, to teams, to software, and especially consumer devices, the accessibility built into the existing market because of binary is not anything we want to detract from. We are passionate about a future that sees binary, multi-state, quantum, and whatever comes next coexisting and thriving together. So, while it may be a long future goal, we are taking the necessary steps to create the supply chain and global ecosystem to support multi-state the same way binary systems had to.
Re-imagine Possibilities
Our goal is to challenge everyone to think of a future built on technology that doesn't exist today
Curiosity Over Certainty
Access Over Exclusivity
Honesty Over Headlines
Two founders, one architecture
Gressus has always been two parts:
Gress - Latin root to step, walk, or go
Us - Not just EJ and Ryan, not just our families, not just America. Everyone.
Gressus is committed to building a future where technology is accessible and inclusive regardless of person or location. We see a vivid future for multi-state/analog computing and we are driven to move us closer as a global society of humans.
Look to the sky for inspiration but keep your feet on the ground,
Ryan and EJ
