Who we are

We’re Gressus, run by Ryan and EJ. Contact us at [email protected].

The short version

When you sign up for updates, we collect your email address and, if you choose, what best describes your interest in Gressus. We use them only to send you Gressus updates that are relevant to you. We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your information with anyone. We do not run ads, analytics, tracking pixels, or cookies on this site.

What we collect

• Your email address, so we can send you updates.
• Your interest, if you pick one: Investor, Engineer, Researcher, or Just following along. It helps us decide which updates to send. It’s optional.
• The date you agreed to receive emails and the version of the consent wording you saw. We keep this so we can show you asked to hear from us.

What we don’t collect

We don’t collect names, phone numbers, payment details, location tracking, analytics, advertising cookies, or browsing history. You can use the rest of this site without giving us anything.

How we store it

We use Hostinger Reach as our email service. Your email address and interest are stored in our Reach account, and Reach sends emails for us. We don’t keep our own copy of your email address on our web server.

Confirmation

After you sign up, you get an email asking you to confirm. We don’t send anything else until you confirm.

Unsubscribing

Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click removes you from future emails.

Your choices

Email [email protected] to see what we hold about you, change your selected interest, or have your information deleted from our list. We usually respond within 30 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Spam protection

To stop bots, our server keeps short-lived counters based on a scrambled, one-way version of the visitor’s IP address. These cannot be turned back into an IP address and are cleared automatically within 24 hours. They are never linked to your email address.

Hosting

Hostinger hosts this site. Like any web host, Hostinger keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, page requested, and time, for security and operations. We don’t use these logs to identify or track visitors.

Third-party services

The Matrix Lab links to a YouTube video. Nothing from YouTube loads on this site. YouTube’s own policies apply only if you open the link.

Email activity

Our email service records whether an email was opened and whether a link was clicked. We only look at totals to see what people find useful.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects your data, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell subscribers by email.
